President / Founding Partner
First and foremost, I’m a proud family guy who believes a well-built financial plan should support a well-lived life.
After earning my finance degree in 2009, I began my career with a Fortune 100 financial-services company, where I had the opportunity to grow quickly and become a partner in my mid-twenties. In 2014, I left the corporate world to build Burke Financial Group, LLC—an independent practice focused on helping people make confident, practical decisions about their financial lives. In 2026, that practice joined forces with Generational Financial Partners, LLC, expanding the resources and perspective available to the clients I serve.
Outside of work, I’m married to my beautiful wife, Liz, a Psychiatric DNP who works in hospital administration. We have three amazing kids—Hudson, Lucy, and Allie—who keep life full, fun, and never boring. Family is the most important thing to me, and it is the reason I’ve designed my career and life around flexibility, presence, and creating meaningful experiences together.
When I’m not working with clients or at a kids’ event, you’ll likely find me planning an international trip, following anything automotive, or out on the road pretending I’m a more serious cyclist than I really am.
A high-earning dentist, CRNA, nurse practitioner, PA, or veterinarian whose finances look a lot like a physician’s, but who has fewer advisors focused on them. Many carry large student loans, are moving between W-2, 1099, and per-diem work, or are deciding on a PLLC or S-corp for the first time. Daniel coordinates loan repayment, retirement plans, insurance, and taxes, and builds a plan toward the point where working becomes optional.
A VP, SVP, division president, or C-suite leader who is paid more and more in RSUs, stock options, or deferred compensation, and whose net worth is tied up in one company’s stock. Daniel plans for the taxes due when shares vest or options are exercised, handles nonqualified deferred compensation elections, and reduces concentrated stock positions, using 10b5-1 plans where they apply. He then ties all of it into your estate plan.
A business owner or entrepreneur whose company is the largest part of their net worth. Daniel coordinates your entity structure and owner pay, designs retirement plans that work for you and your employees, and builds savings you can reach outside the business. When a sale or succession is coming, he starts preparing years ahead so the deal terms and the taxes work in your favor.
