Financial planning is a social science that has often been mistaken for a math equation. Money is shaped by our goals, habits, priorities, and behavior, and I believe good planning starts with understanding what someone wants their life to look like. My role is to help clients simplify the financial pieces, make informed decisions, and use their money intentionally in support of the things that matter most to them.

I graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Finance and have worked in financial services since 2013. Over that time, I’ve held various roles spanning insurance, financial consulting, financial planning, and wealth management. Those experiences have shaped the comprehensive approach I bring to my work with clients today.

I value professional education and, to date, have earned the CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®, RICP®, WMCP®, CLTC®, and FSCP® designations.

Outside of work, I enjoy swimming, running, and generally being active. I teach youth swim lessons at our local pools and love to read, especially nonfiction. I’m also a lifelong Disney fan. I live in the Washington, D.C. area with my wife, Donna, and our cats, Stitch and Dewey Decimal.
